Against dollar, Indian rupee depreciated on an average between 3-5% in last decade. As a diversification, it makes case for investing internationally.

Indian investors have a significant home bias while investing. More than 98% of their savings are invested in domestic markets. By contrast, US based investors tend to invest 27% in international markets while those in the UK invest about 50% of their investments overseas.
